3 Days Murchison Falls National Park; Murchison Falls National Park is one of the oldest, most visited and largest national parks found in the northwestern region of Uganda. It was locally known as Kabalega National Park, sitting on the shores of Lake Albert (the home of the rare shoebill stork) around the Victoria Nile, up to the Karuma Falls.

DAY 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of the safari, you will be welcomed by your guide, who will transfer you from Entebbe or Kampala via the north of the country via the Kampala-Gulu highway. It’s a smooth ride since the road is all clear and not too long.
You will arrive in Masindi town, where you will stop for your lunch and then proceed to the park and in a short while you will be at the southern park entrance of Murchison Falls as you proceed through Budongo Forest, which will earn you views of a few animals, inclusive of which the baboons won’t miss. You will then head for the ferry crossing through the NILE and later continue to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat Cruise
On the second day of the safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and the guide will pick you up to head for the wildlife search. Embarking on a game drive, you are going to have views of the scenic vegetation covers, inclusive of the savannah, woodlands, and riverine forest. You will see animals like lions, hyenas, leopards, and jackals; these are categorized as predators since they feed on the small animals.
Check out the other trails in the park that keep a lot of game, among which is the big game such as the elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and so many antelopes. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon for the boat cruise going upstream to the bottom of the magical falls, you will have sightings of crocodiles, hippos, and lizards, among others. You will have a drink on board as you prepare for the hike that will take you to the top of the falls to see how beautifully the water drops into the Nile. On arrival at the top of the falls, you will spend a few minutes taking pictures and then head to the car since the guide will be there waiting to drive you back to the lodge. Have dinner and overnight stay
DAY 3: DEPARTURE
After a RELAXED breakfast on the last day of the safari, check out of the lodge and meet your guide driver to transfer to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. You will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you won’t spend a lot of time trekking to the rhinos. After that, proceed for lunch en route and continue to Kampala, reaching in the evening.
