3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari
A 3 days Bwindi Gorilla safari is the ultimate and then wonderful Uganda wildlife experience, not to be lacked on every tourist’s bucket list in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will spend one unforgettable hour observing endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This action-packed trip requires a valid gorilla permit (800 USD) and involves a 9- to 10-hour drive from Kampala or Entebbe.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will be picked up from Entebbe/Kampala. The drive time from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda is between 9 and 10 hours.
Along the way, make a stopover in Kayabwe at the equator for experiments and photography and later proceed to Mbarara for lunch. After lunch, proceed on your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with the perfect landscapes ranging from plantations and hills all the way to the massive Virunga. Keep your cameras near you and your safari driver will definitely stop if you need him to so that you can capture that beautiful moment. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing and join others for the briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can last for between 30 minutes and 7 hours, depending on the location of the mountain gorilla family on that particular day.
Once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behavior, taking photographs before you return to the park headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe for your post tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda on the last day of your tour.
During the journey you will have a beautiful view of the Kigezi rolling hills as well as the terraced gardens of the Bakiga people of Southwestern Uganda.
Depending on your itinerary, your journey will be spent on scenic drives since you will use the same route back, you will have another stop at the equator crossing for the photo moments, buying souvenirs or to just relax before continuing to Kampala/Entebbe.
In the evening you will arrive in Kampala and if you are to fly out on that day, we advise you to book a flight that departs at night so that you do not rush on your return journey back to Entebbe.
